The Marketing Intern will expedite reservation processing in accordance with Hilton standards, ensuring a swift and efficient service. They will address sales inquiries with warmth and professionalism, providing courteous assistance.
Essential Functions:
- Social Media Champion
- Review and update brand website
- Review and update of third party websites
- Support in photo shoots (sales, PR and marketing)
- Maintain and update hotel’s photo library and keep a comprehensive image filing system
- Coordination of the hotel’s monthly activities and promotions information for release to local, regional and international media
- To update and regularly review all hotel, venues and spa listings in brand.com, print and electronic media
- To assist in the production of monthly clipping reports
- Assist in the production of all promotional material, including gathering of supporting data and collateral material
- Support in maintaining databases
- Maintain the department facilities, standards of presentation and levels of service to a level that achieves and exceeds Company Brand Standards.
- Understand what role Business Development plays in a Hotel and how impacts on operational tasks.
- Ensure the day to day smooth and efficient running of department in line with Company standards, continually setting a good example by being seen to pay attention to detail.
- Set and maintain the highest standards of dress appearance and hygiene at all times in line with Colleague personal Presentation Standards.
- Making suggestions on improvement areas to develop systems/practices/operation.
Tasks to complete:
- Provide customer service to guests (internally/externally), including information about hotel services, activities, and local attractions.
- Initiate and prepare reports as required
- Communicate and coordinate with other departments
- Attend monthly meetings
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required
- Completion of project and report based on the department / hotel requirement
- Share experience with other team members, learn of different cultural differences and adjusting behavior according with different set ups.
